Rissole and Sweet & Salty Salad

Preparation Time
40 mins


Ingredients
350 gm minced meat (mixed beef & pork or just beef)
2 small green or red chili, finely sliced
1 small bunch of chopped fresh parsley or 1 tbsp dried parsley
1 piece of dry toast (or any other bread), cut into small pieces
1/2 cup of milk
1 egg
Pinch paprika
1 tsp oregano
100 gm (half pack) feta cheese, cut into small pieces / crumbled
Salt & Pepper
1 small salad head
1 Japanese cucumber or 1/2 Western cucumber
1 tomato 
1/2 large pear (substitute with apple, orange, etc)
1/2 lemon juice
2 garlic gloves (minced)
Olive oil
Vegetable Oil




Tool Belt
Cutting board, knife, nonstick frying pan, mixing bowl, sieve (to avoid getting lemon pits in salad dressing), garlic press 

Condiments (use as you like)
Mustard (prefer Dijon), ketchup, mayonnaise

Instructions
1. Place bread in mixing bowl, barely cover with milk and set aside.
2. Mix juice of lemon, olive oil, dash of water, salt, pepper, 1 garlic glove in salad bowl and stir well.
3. Dice tomato, cucumber, pear and add to salad dressing. Set aside.
4. Drain bread of milk. 
5. Add minced meat, egg, paprika, oregano, chili, feta cheese, parsley to same mixing bowl as bread. 


6. Mix everything well with your hands. Get in there, get meaty!
7. Form as many paddies/ small meatballs as you like. 
8. Fry in preheated, oiled frying pan until golden brown on both sides.
9. Add leafy salad to salad bowl and stir well. 
10. Place salad and rissole on plate, serve with condiments as you like.
